An SMS costs what the carrier charges, $0.004 a segment, and a picture message $0.010. No markup on the message.
A 2.9% fee when you add funds
Texts are paid from a prepaid balance. Adding funds carries a 2.9% fee plus card processing, all shown before you pay.

Linxi is built around texts and email. If you mainly need a phone system for calls, a calling service fits better.
An existing landline
Linxi cannot text from a landline that stays with its phone company. Port it to Twilio or Telnyx first, or use a new number.

What is a texting service for business?

Is there a free business texting service?
On the Free plan you can connect a number you already have on Twilio or Telnyx. Texts are always paid at carrier cost; the plan itself is free.
Can I text from my business landline?
Not while it stays with its phone company. If you move the number to Twilio or Telnyx, you can connect it to Linxi and text from it.
Do I need A2P 10DLC registration?
Yes, to text US carriers from a local number. Linxi guides the brand, the compliance profile and the campaign, and checks them before you file.
Is there a business texting app?
Linxi installs from the browser on a phone and works the same on a computer, so the whole team can reply from anywhere.
How much does business texting cost?
